Hey,
I just realised that, two months after putting together this forum, I still hadn't done this. It might sound bad, but this forum ha been building up faster than I had anticipated, and whilst good, it also has brought on certain challenges I didn't think about.
I go by the username "Avacyn" on this forum, having used it already on a couple other forums. I came up with the idea of this forum back in November 2014, when doing the Creative Writing Challenge. It dawned on me that there was a real need for a forum, when it came to the April and July camps. As a result, I looked into creating this forum, to provide a platform for creative writing, to support those in my cabin when in Camp NaNo, and general all year round support.
I then came up with the idea of having a Magic: the Gathering section, because I like the game, and want a way to explore it better. I also have been developing the off-topic section, so that this is a well-rounded forum. At least, that is the hope: People can come here, discuss their hobby, and then meet up in the Off-Topic section.
I'm feeling my way through this, working on improving the forum, developing ideas and the setup... but most importantly, I want this to be a place where people can come, relax, and enjoy themselves. I want people to have fun.
So, hopefully I've not bored people with this introduction... and I hope you join, and enjoy the experience here.
